
Vaidya Asvin Barot
Vaidya Asvin Barot was born in East Africa. He studied Ayurveda in Nadiad, Gujarat, India where he graduated from The Gujarat Ayurved University.
He was a leading Ayurvedic Practitioner in the UK and established a prestigious practice there where many conventional medical doctors would go to learn about Ayurveda.
Vaidya Barot is known internationally for teaching the fundamental principles of Ayurveda and their application in daily life and he participates in international conferences promoting Ayurveda as a science and an art of being. He also gives lectures advocating the holistic approach of Ayurveda, Yoga and Meditation as a method for stress management and human fulfillment in the modern world.
He recently revived the technique of Agnikarma treatment (Thermal Microcautery) for the effective management of pain and helped to establish the Global Agnikarma Centre in Gujarat, India.
In collaboration, Vaidya Asvin Barot and Dr Nikolaos Kostopoulos have promoted a deeper understanding of Ayurveda, Yoga and Meditation through the Holistic AYM, combining the knowledge of ancient texts with modern scientific research.

Dr Nikolaos G Kostopoulos
Dr Kostopoulos graduated from Athens Medical University in 1984. He has worked in the Renal Unit of the Athens Naval Hospital, the Intensive Care Unit of Sotiria chest hospital and in the Respiratory Unit of Manchester Royal Infirmary in England.
He is a member of the Homeopathic Association in Greece and also of the Faculty of Homeopathy in England. Dr Kostopoulos started working in a private practice in Harley Street, London in 1990, combining Ayurveda and modern medicine.
Having been introduced to Ayurveda by Vaidya Barot. In December 1999, Dr Kostopoulos opened the Holistic Health Centre in Kifissia, Athens, where he provides medical care and treats patients from all over the world.
Simultaneously, together with Vaidya Barot, he studies psychosomatic diseases and the management of stress using methods promoted by Ayurveda.
He takes part in international conferences and has lectured in England, Ireland, Germany, France, Switzerland, Canada, Japan and India promoting the scientific application of Ayurveda.
